Privacy Policy

How NOC Signatures collects, uses, and protects information from contractors and their customers when sending and signing Notice of Commencement documents and statutory lien waivers.

Information we collect

Account information you provide when you sign up, the contents of the documents you create, and information about the people you send documents to for signature. When a document is signed we also record the technical details that make the signature evidentiary: the signer's IP address, browser user-agent, and the timestamp of submission.

How we use information

Electronic signatures

Signature data is collected for the purpose of producing a legally effective signed record. Because that record has to remain verifiable later, signature and audit information is retained with the document rather than discarded after delivery.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed to run the service — for example with the infrastructure, email delivery, and payment providers that operate parts of it on our behalf — and where the law requires it.

Data retention and security

Documents and their audit records are retained so that a signed document can be reproduced and verified after the fact. Access is restricted to the account that created a document and the parties it was sent to, and data is protected in transit.
